Anyone have a calculator??

So I picked up my progesterone pills today (Prometrium) and almost shit a brick when the girl in the drive-through said the amount.  $115.99...and that's WITH the prescription savings plan...it saved me $93!  So, let's see what we're now up to in costs each month we try...

*Sperm: $230
*Clomid: $11
*Ultrasound: $142
*HcG shot: $50
*IUI: $310 (+ $60 if on a weekend)
*Prometrium: $116
**Grand Total (cost of gas running back and forth to Appleton a couple times not included): $859

Awesome.  We are now paying more to have a baby each month than it costs us to own our house.  Please, God, let this be the month. 

*Also, on another note, please pray for my friend Heather; she had some divine intervention telling her that her and her husband should adopt and she's not sure how far they'll go with it but needs some prayers for guidance.  And prayers for my friend Abbey and her family; her son was born at 27 weeks several months ago and has had nothing but problems (as well as several surgeries) since and after much difficult discussion with the doctors, decided to let Carter go in peace.  He passed away Monday evening in the arms of his loving parents, free of tubes and IVs.  Doctors say he would have had the mental capacity of a 6-12 year old due to the brain damage suffered as a result of his multiple infections. 

So unfair--that some struggle to know the joys of parenthood and some come to know them but have them torn away too soon.
